Our operational centre of excellence incorporates a registered pharmacy and an MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare Regulatory Agency) “specials” licensed aseptic manufacturing unit for the preparation and batch controlled dispensing of ready to use pharmaceutical products.

The service provides:

• Standard or tailor-made PN regimens for both adult and paediatric patients
• IV medication in a range of infusion devices
• Comprehensive technical support and out-of-hours advice line
• Quality Assurance support and advice
• Dispensing of health prescriptions and FP10 prescriptions
• Home deliveries assembled under the supervision of a pharmacist

The pharmaceutical quality management system is formulated to comply with the provisions of the European Guide to Good Manufacturing Practice for Medicinal Products. The Quality Assurance system is regularly audited to appraise its effectiveness and applicability. The following quality indicators are audited at regular intervals and amendments to procedures made if necessary:
